Introduction to Energy Management System (EMS)

Energy management system monitors and manages your electrical distribution network via intelligent, communicating energy and power devices connected to software for data collection, visualization, analysis and reporting.

EMS Process (4 Steps)

1. Measure

Evaluate energy consumption and collect relevant data for analysis.

2. Analyze

Look for energy-saving opportunities and estimate the potential energy savings. Analyze the data from the meter to identify and measure periods of wasted energy costs. Research energy-saving methods, such as replacing devices or upgrading them.

3. Implement

Initiate the implementation of energy-saving solutions, starting with the option that is deemed the most effective and impactful.

4. Follow

Keep track of your progress as you analyze the clock data you have collected, in order to thoroughly evaluate the impact of your energy-saving efforts.
